About David Schamens

David Schamens is a seasoned business executive with over 22 years of experience operating within the financial services industry. Over the course of his career, Schamens has proven himself as a innovative, strategic leader who is passionate about uncovering new opportunities for growth and development. His specialties include electronic trading, options, derivatives, equities, prime brokerage, high frequency trading, and hedge funds.

David currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TradeStream Analytics, Ltd. In this role, David is responsible for the direct communication with investors, vendor and clearing relationships, and contracts with trading group clients. Alongside the Chief Technology Officer, David Schamens is also responsible supervising technology development and implementing that technology with client groups.

As a business executive, David Schamens enjoys the process of building and leading companies from the ground up. Leading by example, David derives great satisfaction from working with dynamic, engaging, and intelligent colleagues who take pride in teamwork and professional development. Engaged and energetic, David understands what it takes to lead large teams and talented individuals in a strategic direction. His ability to lead with integrity and respect has resulted in a high level of success for himself, his team and his organizations.

Previously, David Schamens served as a Consultant with Invictus Funds, LLC, providing investment analysis, general ledger, and technology consulting expertise to clients. He remained with the organization from 1998 through 2010. From 1995 to 1998, Schamens served as an Advisor for FSM National Government, during which time he was the finance liaison and was also responsible for investment analysis, policy development.  

David Schamens graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Communications and Accounting. During his undergraduate studies, David was a member of the Student Government, Young Republicans, and Market Trading Club.
